About Us
Founded in 1981 as a Bay Area provider of installation, storage and delivery services for contract office furniture, Service West has become the largest independent furniture installation company in the US, with an operating area that includes all of California, greater Las Vegas and southern Nevada, and metro New York. Starting June 1, 2009, our unique brand of client-focused service is also available through Service West branches in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia.
Our service offering has steadily expanded over the years, first to furniture repair, refurbishing and maintenance; then to workplace asset management; and on to commercial moving and trade event and theatrical logistics.

Two factors provide overall unity in our performance of these services. One is a collective commitment to being the best in the nation at what we do. The other is a recognition that we operate daily on the front lines of change in the facility world — a role that demands a huge amount of respect and consideration for the time, productivity and peace of mind of the clients and end users we support.
